Big Bear Activities for Kids

Parents will be pleased to know that most activities in Big Bear Lake are family oriented. Outdoor adventures for kids include skiing, snowboarding, fishing, horseback riding, camping, hiking, bowling and much more.
But there is some stuff to do with children that they will definitely enjoy. These children's activities include visiting the Moonridge Animal Park, Discovery Center, Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, and the Snow Play. Moonridge Animal Park also known as the Big Bear Zoo, has daily special programs and guided tours. The park also has a petting zoo and a gift shop. The Discovery Center has free interpretive programs guided by highly trained naturalists of the valley during the week. Their special guided tours on are held midweek and weekend afternoons.
